Fresenius struggling

The announcement came this morning: Fresenius will not increase its dividend for 2022. After more than 20 years of rising payouts! The company, which is running hospitals in Europe, looses therefore its status as on of Europes’ few Dividend Aristocrats. A real disappointment if you are asking me but only comprehensible. Numbers for 2022 were everything but good. The profit fell 7% for the whole year. The company is struggling since years. Stock price is far from the 2017 ATH at ~80€.

Position sold

Fresenius is not only since today a sick patient itself, a new CEO is asked to fix the problems. Restructuring of the whole company has just started.
Personally I am sick of it, not believing in a soon recovery and sold the position I held since 2016. A pity but there is better companies to invest the money in.
