One of the great parts about Hive is that you don't have to stop creating content on your other platforms to have a reason to use Hive.

Although Hive does have its perks for both content creators and their supporters, you don't have to give up your audience on the platforms you've been using for years use to publish to Hive.

Aside from interacting with others, this is a great place to store your content on a database that won't be changed and that you own the keys to. It's the perfect place for data ownership of your content and protecting your content from traditional platforms that may not survive due to some decision that you had no say in. You're Hive account is as secure as your method of storing your keys.

All of this makes Hive a great place to crosspost your content from other platforms even if you're not using the platform to build within the community as much. The technology is really that amazing.

Blog Post

Medium Blog Posts

A lot of people like to use Medium and there are several ways you can incentivize Hive for your audience while using Hive to back up your content to the blockchain.

One way is to post to Hive first and not post to Medium until after the post pays out rewards on Hive. This would allow you to incentivize people who really want your content to make a Hive account so they can get your content a week earlier and get rewarded for upvoting and interacting with your content...

It will require you to transfer the content between Hive and Medium, but the best tools I've found for this is:

WordPress Website

If you're a person who has a WordPress Website that you use to host a blog, it's even easier! Exxpo.io allows you to crosspost your Website content directly to the Hive blockchain.

Podcasts

If you have a podcast that you host, as long as you have your RSS, you can cross-publish your podcast episodes to Hive with almost no extra effort.

If you're making twitter spaces and saving the recordings for a podcast, this would be a great way to tokenize that content.

When it comes to backing up your content on Hive, 3Speak.tv is the best way to go. 3speak is the platform that actually will allow you to back your video content up to the blockchain.

We also have D.tube which is still good but isn't as popular. The nice thing about dtube though is they alow you to plug your youtube links into Dtube and post to Hive that way. But I will also mention that while Dtube does post to Hive, runs on its own blockchain which requires you to create another dtube account. And Dtube emphasizes more BNB Defi integration as well.

Streaming

If you're a Twitch streamer or use OBS to stream to any other platform, you can easily mulitstream to the Hive blockchain using Vimm.tv.

It's just a matter of plugging in your stream keys into your streaming software then you can start tokenizing your streams.
