Brawling out of the Bronze league has been tedious
Breaking out of the Bronze league has proven to be one of the most difficult Splinterlands challenges I have ever experienced. The fact that we're all basically fighting on equal footing at this level adds a subtle layer of difficulty in climbing up the ranks.
My immediate target is to brawl my way out of the Bronze league and at least finish the season somewhere in Gold league, so I won't have to experience this dark place anymore.
I really look forward to putting this Bronze situation behind me and start brawling at my optimum level. In higher levels, the quality of your monsters influence the direction of battle and I'd rather just save myself from stress by just upgrading my monsters.
So, for now, it is all about racking up points in this tedious category and getting maximum value from my somewhat expensive deck.
Low mana monsters
From my observation, it seems like there are more low mana rulesets for battles in the Bronze level and that has been a bit of a bummer because I have some powerful high mana monsters in my collection.
Recently, I've been thinking about my decision to stay in the modern category and I reckon that I may have to tweak that too. I have a couple of low mana costing Wild monsters that add decent quality to my deck.
There's also the fact that in Bronze league, wild category might not really be as competitive as it tends to be in the modern category.
In fact, I did a small experiment between Wild and Modern; I found out that brawling in the wild category is a lot easier because of the previously mentioned fact. The experiment showed that overall, brawling on the wild side is a lot easier than the modern side for the Bronze league.
Overall, I found it much easier to win on the wild side than on the modern side. I wonder if other people noticed this higher level of competition in the modern category and I also wonder if it is the same in higher leagues.
