Rabona - Best Player of the Game | Social Media Challenge
Rabona is a soccer manager blockchain game built on Hive network where you can manage your football club, scout, train, and trade players, build and expand your stadium and through all of these become a champion and climb up to the top league. You can develop the infrastructure for your stadium and also grow your team to be the best and win it all. A blockchain game that makes you strategize for the entire season, but also on a team by team basis when you need to adapt your formation and other organizational things in order to be on the winning side.
The team that I manage at the moment is Manchester United and it is one of the Top 5 teams in League 2. Actually, I am hovering in League 2 and League 1 from season to season based on my involvement in the team.
The star player of the team is Alejandro Mendoza, which is a young striker of only 23 years who scores in most of the games he plays by both shooting and head ball. Actually, he is almost perfect at these skills and his endurance makes him trusty for the entire period of the game. Great overall stats of 78 and being still young he can grow more with his favorite formation being 4-3-3.
In the last game the team played against Algeria he scored no less than 2 goals and assured the team victory. If you consider that and being part of the Top goalscorers in the league, I think he truly deserves the title of Best Player of the Game, but also the Best Player of the Season for my team, Manchester United.
One suggestion that could be added to the Rabona game would be to have an algorithm to designate the best player of the game based on different factors. This could mimic real football games and I am sure some indicators can be taken from there, identified in the game, and use to generate a score per player out of them and grant the one with the biggest score the title of 'Best Player of the Game'.
One of the reasons I have gotten involved in this game is because I have no knowledge of football. Do you still think I can give it a shot with zero sport knowledge?
For sure as mostly it is strategy and math. Building stadium and all the infrastructure on it, trade players on the market and train them. Most you need to do management and built up, no need football knowledge.
