Welcome hivians and hivebookclub dwellers to my first post in this community. I try to join in the challenge held by Ecency namely
Ecency Discord Weekly Topic so I try to write that in here. I am doing a review of one of books that I have in titled "Hujan Bulan Juni" translated as "June Rain" originally this book i kos written in Indonesian language. This novel has 135 pages and authored by Sapardi Djoko Damono

I really like the cover of this book, the book I have is a hard cover with a title design that looks like it's been washed away by raindrops. It doesn't stop at the cover, every page of this novel looks brown and there are several yellow spots that give the impression of reading an old book. This is the first book I have read that looks like this. old but gold

This novel tells about the love life between Sarwono and Pingkan. Throughout the novel which is 135 pages thick, the ups and downs of the story of the two of them are illustrated. There are several differences between the two of them which become a dilemma in continuing their relationship, including; race, religion, culture and family.
Personally, I am interested in the love story between these two lovers who also work as lecturers together. Even though there are many temptations that come from their family, workplace, and friends, they can all be overcome and show that it is not differences that are their focus, but their focus is love for one another.
I think how to address differences and the importance of loyalty is an important message in this novel. We should not force our will if there are differences but can be addressed wisely without causing new problems. Loyalty is closely related to sacrifice where we are required to be faithful in maintaining relationships in the midst of various problems.
