Wszystko zaczyna się od porodu. Młoda lekarka weterynarii odbiera poród krowy... ale nie rodzi się cielę, tylko ludzkie dziecko.
Czy na pewno ludzkie, to się wkrótce dowiemy, ale z pewnością od pierwszych scen tego serialu jest dziwnie.

It all starts with a birth. A young veterinarian delivers a cow... but it's not a calf that's born, but a human child. Whether it's really a human child, we'll find out soon, but it's definitely weird from the very first scenes of this series.

Mnie skusiły dobre recenzje i produkcja hiszpańska, do tego akcja dziejąca się w małym pueblo, na pograniczu horroru i egzorcyzmów... czego chcieć więcej?

I was tempted by the good reviews and Spanish production, plus the action taking place in a small pueblo, on the border between horror and exorcism... what more could you want?

W sumie nie wiem czego chcieć ani czego się spodziewać, ale wiem co dostałam, bo pierwszy sezon obejrzeliśmy dość szybko. Moim zdaniem jest to dziwny i bardzo nierówny serial. Są odcinki bardzo spoko i są tak totalnie odjechane, jakby ktoś inny je tworzył, a temu komuś właśnie mocno peron odjechał czy coś. Są sceny udane, zrobione profesjonalnie, a za chwilę - scena rodem z pastiszu albo wyglądająca jak jakieś bollywood, tylko bez tańców i śpiewów. Wnoszę, że z budżetem może coś było nie tak, i nie na wszystko starczyło ;) chyba że taka po prostu była wizja artystyczna, która nie do końca do mnie przemawia.
Fabuła? Jest, owszem. Nawet momentami dość niezła. Po to by za chwilę znowu zdziwić widza tak, że spyta sam siebie: co ja właściwie oglądam i po co? ;)

I don't really know what to want or expect, but I know what I got, because we watched the first season pretty quickly. In my opinion, it's a strange and very uneven series. There are episodes that are really cool and they're so totally crazy, as if someone else was making them and that someone really went off the rails or something. There are successful, professionally done scenes, and then a moment later - a scene straight out of pastiche or looking like some Bollywood, only without the dancing and singing. I assume that there was something wrong with the budget, and there wasn't enough for everything ;) unless that was simply the artistic vision, which doesn't really appeal to me. The plot? Yes, there is. Even quite good at times. Just to surprise the viewer again a moment later, so that they ask themselves: what am I watching and why? ;)

No ale - dla tych bardziej udanych momentów i dla hiszpańskiej produkcji <3 - chyba warto, więc oglądamy dalej.

Well, but - for these more successful moments and for the Spanish production <3 - it's probably worth it, so we keep watching.
