The IRS is interested in the FTX case to dig out the roots of the problem

The FTX case has become a big deal, even the IRS has a big interest in the case.

Of all the crypto industry bankruptcies, the FTX bankruptcy was the one that caught the attention of US government. This case is being expanded because another lawyer has been appointed by the Department of Justice.

Recently some lawyers have been replaced, I don't know why it happens, maybe there is something like corruption going on with the case, well, I don't know. But it has made it clear that a new IRS attorney is now involved in FTX's case.

The IRS interest in the FTX bankruptcy will likely become another problem for Bankman-Fried, although there is no indication of what exactly the IRS interest in the case is, again something the bankruptcy firms do. Though FTX's bankruptcy caused a sudden market collapse, it caught the attention of many, including US regulators and law enforcement.

Looking at this issue, are we saying Bankman-Fried's eight financial crimes against him are not enough or what? Or something else is happening there. Miles Fuller, a former IRS attorney who served 15 years before becoming director of TaxBit, says the IRS agency supposed to has an interest in the case of declare bankruptcy or debtors, so the insolvency unit retains the case, as it is.

He also suggested that the IRS should work on how FTX spends customers' money and how the cryptocurrency collapsed, to help the victim claim their losses without waiting for the bankruptcy to end.

Lisa Zarlenga, a tax attorney and partner at Steptoe & Johnson in D.C., said she doesn't know why the IRS is so concerned about FTX clients and the case, but she's waiting to see how this ends.

If the IRS sends an attorney to represent in the FTX case, could that mean that FTX owes public money or that the agency want to file its own claim?
