Only 100 HP powered up this month
It's the start of a new month and I had taken a very good habit to power up a lot of Hive on each first of the month since December 2021. I started by powering up 1000 Hive every month for 4 months. Then in March, I managed to power up 600 and today... I can only power up 100 Hive.
Why my power up is smaller this month
I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed but there are reasons why I couldn't power up more this month. First of all, the income from Splinterlands has decreased quite a lot. In addition to that, I have reinvested most of my earnings either in SPS staking or in Summoners. I have managed to max out two chaos legion summoners and am about to do the same for a third one. This is quite expensive but I want to have a powerful deck ready for modern format.
Another thing that I have been doing is to increase my assets in Diesel Pools. My positions in liquidity pools has been growing constantly and that's another point why I couldn't power up that much.
Getting further away from my targets
My benchmark for my targets is the percentage of the year that we have behind us. Since I set the goals, 97 days have passed. This is 26.5% of the time until the end of 2022. Therefore, to reach my target, I should have grown by 26.5% for my target tokens Hive Power and HBD.
Hive Power
For my Hive Power, since the 1st of March, my Hive Power has increased by 390 (290 organically and 100 through a power up). This is an overall increase of 22.5%. I'm about 4 % behind schedule which is quite a lot.
HBD
My other target is HBD. I have today 6'575 HBD in my savings. This is a plus of 233 HBD in one month. The great thing is that 60 of this increase come from the interests! So far I've reached 18.9% of my target. I'm about 7.6% behind.

What I could do better...
I'm behind in schedule for both my targets but I don't want to panic and I need to work a bit harder. Recently, I haven't posted that regularly and the results translate that. I want to try to step it up and create more posts.

Great to see that you are powering up and diversifying across multiple areas. It will be interesting to see when the new modern format is released to ranked battles. I am starting to buy a few untamed cards that I rent most of the time.
I'm buying all these summoners and renting them out waiting until they are maxed out. This brings some nice rental income :-)
Sounds like good numbers to me. You are behind but for a good reason and that is that you are investing in products that will later give you a greater cash flow. So I think in the second half of the year you will reap the harvest.
I hope that it will pay out at a later stage. At the moment the return on diesel pools is quite good and this will allow me to stake at a later stage.

The year is still young. I kind of like how Hive remains stable around 1$
I still think 100 HP powered up is decent. It's more than what I plan on doing each month and I think you can definitely still reach your goal.

I've set up my goals in a linear way but there is the compounding effect that will play for me towards the end of the year. We will see :-)

My results on these targets are not going well either. Partially because of the price action, partially because I needed to focus more on Splinterlands to get ready for the new formats.
It's expensive to ready the deck for the new format in SL. We can't reach all goals ;-)
