Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Ferocity" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, This Monster does double damage to targets with the Taunt ability. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

Ruleset IconDescription
Ferocity
This Monster does double damage to targets with the Taunt ability.
Weak Magic
Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. Protect, Repair, Rust are useful in this ruleset. Beware the opponent could choose only Melee and Ranged monsters, so keep a tank with Shield.

Summoner:

I chose the "TARSA summoner". It was a 37-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Tarsa summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in melee attack and health. I included the Gobalano Soldier monster so that it will attack before the star of the battle with its ambush ability. My team lineup comprised the following; Tusk the Wide, Tenyii Striker, Mad Ogre Anarchist, Torch Vizier, Gobalano Soldier, and Ferox Defender.

1st Position:

Tust the Wide, this card has the void ability. It is an 6-mana monster with a speed of 1, 1 melee attack damage, and 12 health with 0 armor protection.

What Transpired in the Battle:

First of all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra armor. My opponent's lineup comprised six monsters including the Harklaw, Carrion Shade, Silent Sha-Vi, Ancient Lich, Revealer, and Lira the Dark.

In the first round, the Gobalano Soldier with its ambush ability attacked before the battle started. The Lira the Dark monster also attacked the Gobalano Soldier after which the Torch Vizier monster attacked and eliminated the Carrion Shade monster with its opportunity ability. Tenyii Striker also attacked and eliminated the Lira the Dark monster after which the Mad Ogre Anarchist minster attacked and eliminated the Ancient Lich monster.

Round 2:

In this round, three of my opponent's monsters were eliminated already in the first round so I had the upper hand to win the battle.

After several attacks from my opponent, my Tenyii Striker monster and the Mad Ogre Anarchist monster attacked and eliminated two monsters from my opponent's lineup.

Round 3:

In this round, my opponent was left with one monster which I think can't eliminate any of my monsters in the lineup.

A series of attacks occurred and I caused a lot of health damage to my Harklaw monster where it was left with 4 more health.

Round 4:
In this round, I know I will easily end the battle here. After several attacks, the Tenyii Striker could finally attack and eliminate the last monster.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with the Franz Ruffmane summoner. In four rounds, I was able to emerge victorious at the end of the battle.

Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
