Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week we have a topic that goes by the theme "writing anything amazing about the Splinterlands game". I will share my experience in opening Gladius Packs and what I was rewarded with. Without much ado, let's dive into the topic straight forward.

The Splinterlands game keeps on evolving every day and from my point of view, I will say it sometimes moves from the right way to the other way, and sometimes too it comes back to normal. We have experienced a lot of updates and changes, some of which kick out most of the players and others to excite other players to stay. Updates are good in game development but as we are in a decentralized blockchain, I think the best way is to adjust it in a way that everyone agrees on what is going to be added.

We have noticed that most updates are being passed because the whales support it and their Yes carries the heavy weight. All things being equal, so far as it will help the long term of the game, we are in for it. There are a lot of proposals from bot banning to the recent update where the chest rating system has been kicked out and we have the Glint system.

This new system is designed in such a way that every win in a battle earns you some GLINT which you can later use to purchase a draw where you can earn a soulbound card from. Glint can also be used to purchase a title in the game such as the Proven, The Veteran, and or the Reowned.

The Glint Shop is Restocked after every season. Well, I won't say that the idea of the Glint is totally bad because, at the end of the day, you can still earn a card or two from the draw which isn't a bad idea. So basically, the Glint serves as a reward currency that is used to purchase items from the Glint Shop. I didn't pay much attention to it earlier but now, I have and I will make good use of this new system before things get changed.

Thank you all for your time and attention, I look forward to seeing you all in my subsequent posts.
