Creamy creamy pints with great friends

The Black Stuff

I'm back this week what a pint of The Black stuff, that's a pint of The Black stuff with a lot more pints of the black stuff!! Why?

I caught up with some really good friends is why. Guys I had not seen in a few years. Ex work friends from when I was in my early twenties. There were seven of us in total as you'll see from this scatter of pints on front of us below.

I'm proud to say I was the only man among us that could carry the full round back to the table in 2 trips without spilling a drop and without a tray! Yep, I can carry 4 pints at a time, not a bother.

We met up for some food after work in a really nice authentic Italian restaurant called Bar Italia. Some Bierra Moretti, vino rosso, Bruschetta, delicious pasta and coffee followed and after that we retired to Bowes a beaut of an auld man Guinness pub in the heart of Dublin beside Doyle's.

Well to say the Guinness was good would be some under statement. It was pure velvety goodness

Introducing Guinness

Not that it needs much introduction, I think anyone who has ever had a drink of alcohol will know what Guinness is, but how many of you have drank it here in Ireland? Let me know in the comments below where you have had it either in Ireland or elsewhere and what your opinion is and was.

I honestly can't wait to meet up with this bunch of friends again because even though it had been a while, I didn't feel like that. We were having the craic, the jokes were flying and the times were mighty. You really can't beat good reliable sound friends and I'm quite lucky to have a good few of them.

They did way back in the day before the pubs had coolers. You're talking forty years ago I'd say.. All served cold now..

A gathering of friends and a good beer can't be beaten, hehe.
And that one looks like you said 👇

It was pure velvety goodness

I have had Guinness, and I like it, but never in Ireland, as I have not been lucky enough to visit it yet.
Happy weekend!
