I love how an ordinary yam turned into a lesson about patience and first impressions. What stood out to me was that you nearly missed something wonderful simply because its outside didn't look promising.

It makes me wonder how many people and opportunities we overlook because we judge too quickly. I'm still learning my way around Hive and meeting people in this community, and it's a good reminder not to decide someone's value from their first impression. Sometimes we need to give things—and people—a little time before we understand what they have to offer.
