This is my candid opinio! We all carry the weight of our past actions, good or bad.In a world where social media never forgets, one careless post or old controversy can haunt job opportunities, relationships, and reputations for years.Keeping a low online presence is smart self-protection, once something is out there, it’s permanent.
That said,people are not static.
Environment, reflection, and genuine effort can drive real change. Not every mistake deserves lifelong punishment, especially honest errors, youthful stupidity, or things done in anger that someone deeply regrets.
Second chances? They should exist, but not automatically. They must be earned through consistent actions, not just words. Those who show no remorse or keep repeating the same harm don’t deserve them.Redemption isn’t a right; it’s a privilege proven over time.
Ultimately, judge the person in front of you today, not just the ghost of their yesterday.Mercy without accountability is weakness, but zero forgiveness turns society cold and unforgiving.
