It's true that sometimes the innocent pay for things that are not their fault. I just watched a program where a person wanted to be a villain and did something bad that affected others. When someone saw everything, they accused them, but no one trusted their word; they were labeled a snitch, a liar, and no one wanted to know them. The world is so difficult that doing the right thing seems to make you more likely to be the villain.
