My wife and I agree that you can be poor and still be clean the two aren't totally opposed to each other. I remember when Shakira was just getting popular in the US. She did a Pepsi commercial or something like that and she sang a song that was almost kind of punk. Much heavier than her later stuff that saw mainstream success.

I don't much like her material today, she's lost that hard edge she used to have. It's a shame, she is a lot more fun in the old stuff.
