A better society begins with the values we instil in children, because good citizenship, responsibility and respect for the environment are habits that should be nurtured from an early age. I particularly like your suggestion of incorporating community volunteering into education and recognising those who contribute. We should not only teach children how to succeed individually, but also how to contribute meaningfully to society.
