As a new user, I find it easy to relate with that question, and seeing the stats, I can say a few things:
- There seems to be a lack of REALLY easy-to-use solutions for HIVE. What's there looks incredibly diverse and, well, powerful, but yeah there should be a (ideally mobile) product that hides all the intricacies of the votes and the resource credits and staking and keys and so on, at least initially
- Value proposition is surely a thing. As far as I have seen so far, a large portion of the (relevant) content on the platform is actually a out products that run on Hive. While it's of course nice to have all these features and being able to create tokens and build apps and stuff, it would also be nice to just say "get paid for posting" (which is the notion that brought me here initially) and just see how that unfolds
- I think it would be great if there was a Hive integration in a rather unrelated, popular, product that just wants a microblogging feature and uses Hive for that. That would probably be a breakthrough, even if I have no idea what kind of complexity this would entail
