What keeps people going back to FB/Instagram/twitter?

Engagement.

If there are no people to engage with you people leave and go back to Twitter from Bluewhateveritiscalled.

Hive never values the little people enough. The bloggers who write about their chickens that hatched or the fish they caught that day don't have 4000 words behind it.

But those are the people who show up every day. Groups like The Silver Bloggers are such a case.

Steemit worked because we were all in it together. If we were not Hive would never have happened.

Yes, there are ways to make money from larger companies and such. I am not saying this is not important to reach out and find new money to invest but what are they investing in?

80 small projects, all asking the little people to use them, is 75 projects too many. But everyone wants to make their buck....so in these 15 places, IF you can find them, you can post short content but never post short content anywhere else.

Hive needs to become more cohesive. An all-in-one shop that is CLEAR to use. Because right now it is less clear than it was 8 years ago when I started. Which to me is just sad.

And I know no one wants to hear what I have to say because it would mean all people working together and not just ones in it to make money for themselves. It would mean cutting back DApps and a lot of streamlining so word of mouth starts wording.

You go to Twitter for world news. You go to Reddit for How too's. You go to FB and die a little as you see what it has become.........but the one thing you want it there and some old friends you like to check on are there so you can not close FB all the way down. As in Russ is on vacation and his first day off he wanted to walk around Menards. Which is so very Russ and made me smile but he could never have posted that here on Hive and those are the kind of people we need....... everyday people.....

There are millions and millions of everyday people.

They just do not want to read a textbook before they post a photo of themselves in front of Menards.
