I like your take with politics. Not having one or simply not caring for it is my stance as well. The unfortunate thing there is no escaping it because it is worldwide. The statement from Facebook is true taxes can surely rip apart even a $1. It makes you wonder how much is actually left after the taxes taken multiple hits on it. Oh DOGE I'll remain silent as I had to do a task for it every week and worry about my livelihood. Just glad it is gone. No fairy-tales with politics just all the dirty description you made 😆

When I remember learning about old civilizations and big empires, many times I heard how they exploited their citizens with "big" taxes... You had to give 10% of your gains!!! Compared to today's taxes, it's like a "baby tax"... lol...
When we would summarize all taxes, I bet it would be closer to 50% than to 10%... 😃
