Every time something like this happens, it's in all the news for a day or two, and it becomes the "old story", and as you said, cameras move on... But it's not just weather forecast news or a ticket sale for a following concert; it is a disaster that hit a whole country, and its effects are immediate and will stay for the long term...

I remember the big volcano eruption in the Canary Islands a few years ago... It was in all the world's media for a few days, but then nothing... Some people still can't go back to their homes because of the underground gas leaks... No money, no help, no talk about it...

But, as you said, seeing ordinary people coming together, helping out each other has restored belief in humanity... There are many good people, and that's good to know... 🥂

Politicians will do politics, as usual...
