"Mostly..." When you are asking for people's money you have to be more exact. When terminology is as loose as this I believe it can allow or potentially cater for deception.
Finally, on the buying upvotes part.
Upvotes are not guaranteed
Is the curation manual? How do you ensure that upvotes just don't go automatically out to the top ten people that satisfy the criteria? This would in effect render it a vote buying and self voting service.
Please don't take my questions the wrong way but Hive has had many rugpulls and Honest John's sweatily swearing they are legit before run off. So I feel it is important to be specific and clear on what you are offering.
Both of these are discussed in other posts, the deep dives. But let me answer. (I chuckled about not being specific enough because mostly I hear I am too specific and detailed, but we are all different and have different perspectives) by "'mostly" I meant that some funds may be held in HBD at some point but not really right now as I am converting all HBD into Hive for the moment. But in the future I may keep more HBD in savings and I may count that as backing the tokens. I am also only calculating Hive power in terms of new mints right now even though this account and others connected also have liquid Hive and a tiny amount of HBD. But in terms of backing the tokens I am going by Hive power but technically also have Hive too, so whether or not that "counts" is subjective.In the future I may count HBD savings for backing, if I start to save more but that's in the future and I may not ever count it though technically it could be counted because it is account funds that could potentially be converted for buybacks etc. Right now HP is 1333.28 and circulating supply is 1044.9 having a surplus of close to 300 HP to tokens minted .I talk about this more in detail in the "what the heck is HPH" post. Votes are both manual and some auto via hive vote( curation trails I sometimes am a part of and becoming "fans"of some. I turn this off and on as I am disabled and can't always get to every post manually submitted or look at posts from those on the list not on discord). Folks post their links for manual curation on the discord server. In the near future it will all be manually curated and less need for hive vote as back up. The curation/votes is not a priority and it is not a vote service.Upvotes are just a bonus-like a thank you. However once things are settled I will have curators (along with myself as needed) who are reviewing and upvoting posts submitted(as they/ I see fit) on discord. Folks can post other content not just their own once a day for review. I hope that answered everything- if not please let me know and I will clarify. I welcome well thought out questions. They make my brain happy.
