When I first moved to Spain with a former employee I had to train in Madrid for a couple of months in November and December and it was -6 degrees.(don't know what that is in shitty farhenheit so dont @ me.) . Some head on me with no winter gear packed. A couple of weeks later I moved to the Canary islands and it was 30 degrees in December. Spain is a mad country. great spot.

That is pretty crazy. -6 sounds about like shorts weather where I live. Oh yeah, 21 degrees, that's like a warm front in December! :)
