From my point of view, missing DV feature is the most negative thing in this tribe (VYB)
Inspite of that, I see certain positive things here too.
So after all, I got two options:
I could do option (2) easily, as nothing was binding myself to VYB from very beginning.
(As I got 0.00 (ZERO) VYB tokens in the AIRDROP)
But you can see I took option (1), and in less than one-month period I went from nothing to solid #1 on the list.
And that #1 today is more than (#2 + #3 + #4) together, combined.
I can not downvote wrong behaved participants.
But I believe I will be able to make my complete and permanent IGNORE just as painful as my (non-existing) downvote.
I also believe I'm not alone in such a view, and with time will have more VYB participants follow my steps.
I am convinced that we can effectively combat abuse without the need for DVs -- and that is exactly why VYB was created, to demonstrate that it can be done and that it can be done effectively.
However, I am equally convinced that creativity and active community involvement are keys to making that happen.
I applaud your creative work-around to not having a downvote.
I am also very attentive (as are the members of the VYB Anti-Abuse Team) to any other suggestions you (and others) might have regarding ways to combat abuse without relying on DVs.
Hi there, if you ever get any wrong behaved participants, send it to me or scholaris pls,we triying to mod a bit the whole vyb chaos :)

Definitely I won't think twice about forwarding to you ,I think I need to sign on to discord now too
Will be glad to message you and @onealfa too
Definitely am with you on this and will definitely do same also as regards muting anyone find guilty of any irregularities too.
Seek help. You are definitely not on the VYB.
Have a good day.
Moderation is a touch work. I finally have 3 other moderators in the VYB community. Also, I want to make @notconvinced's project proposal a reality. In fact, his project will be mentioned in the upcoming Anti-abuse team moderation policy.
Notification, mute actions, and the ignore options will be some tools for moderation. In the area of ignoring someone's article, notconvinced's proposal will make things much easier in my opinion.
Downvotes are not necessarily needed at the tribe level. STEMGeeks, for example, doesn't use downvotess as main mean of combating abuse.
The tradeoff is that moderation is more centralized in the hands of tribe owners and selected moderators/curators.
Even with the current tribe set up, it is possible to take away rewards at the "post level only" without outright muting the account from participating in the tribe.
So, I guess it's a matter of you are okay with a more centralized approach to bad behaviors.
