RE: Viki is back - Part Two

I miss my D750. I moved to Nikon Z series cameras, and I miss my Nikon D750. It was so good in low light, particularly using focus-assist from my flash trigger.

I can't imagine how much all that Tulle would have cost. I use it a lot in my shoots, I think I have an obsession with obscuring / veiling the face and parts of the party with something that is not quite opaque, not quite transparent.

It makes for some interesting results, the way the light behaves differently as it passes through the different layers of material, at different depths. It also gives the camera something to focus on... everywhere!

Great shots. I like the sepia / yellowed one the best, it has a timeless feel to it.

Dear friend, when I bought it five years ago, everyone told me to buy something from a newer series, mirrorless. However, my will and desire were so strong that I ignored all the advice and bought it. And I am enchanted with it. I love it, I love its weight in my hands. And of course, you are right about low light conditions, it is perfect especially with this 50mm f/1.8 lens. Furthermore, as far as the cost is concerned, this nylon is very cheap, it is the kind of nylon used to protect rooms and furniture when the paint on the walls is being renewed, so it is used to cover the furniture and floors. Very cheap, a few dollars or Euros here. Thank you very much for your comment

Ah, here in Australia, that fabric is about $9.80 a metre for a piece 180cm wide. Very expensive!

I also got rid of all my F-series glass when I upgraded. I had that 50mm lens, it was beautiful, indeed!
