Like you, I've been here a while now (almost 9 years, holy cow). I've seen the topic rise and fall many times. There have even been multiple engagement building initiatives over the years.

I think everyone is looking for at least some type of interaction, or at least the long term users are. Those that are here just for what they think is a quick get rich scheme typically don't last long. Hodling is a long game, not a short one.

I certainly give folks their right to choose, but also have chosen to limit support on those that have low ke ratings or that seems to be pulling all their hive away rather than continuing to invest in it. I've not withdrawn once since beginning all those years ago. Maybe someday I will, like you I started with investment desires and hoping to fund a couple purchases at least over time, and who knows maybe get lucky with a big payout. I remember how much the value was worth when Hive went over a dollar and would sure love to see that again. I can't describe how good a feeling that is to see all the work done while hive was low for pennies, all of a sudden increase 10 fold. Yah, it's cool. I'm sure we'll see it again, just wish I had the free funds now to grab some more while prices are down. lol
