What a cool weekend trip! I love the Holland concept there with the tulips planted everywhere. To think it all started with one teacher back in 1927! Too bad they were past their peak but they are still beautiful.

The functioning windmill is a great item to tie into the old country. When it came to to fix it they ponies up the cash and repaired it, they must love it as part of their heritage. Amazing that they still use it to grind flower until this day, what a cool place!

I hope the funnel cake was good, it sure looks good!

It was so greasy, but so delicious. That's part of the reason we had to stop. I was a hot mess with all the powdered sugar all over my shirt after we were done!
