Those messages were cute until they were cluttering the comments from so many bots. Perhaps a balance can be had by posting a summary every five or more responses.
I've been playing with a feed in the same spirit as the "muted" one. It allows a user to designate which accounts they value to affect their feed and the inverse. If your account was demoted by an account for a bad reason then I'd demote their curation in my view. This community is about trust, after all.
