How Tomorrow Might Speak My NameTomorrow

Most of the time travel things I have seen are from all these sci-fi movies where someone has the ability to teleport to the future to hear or see things. I know for sure if I have that ability, my mind might skip a bit knowing fully well that I will see and hear everything people have to say about me. Over here in my country, we call something a legacy, and that's why we're all trying to leave a good legacy for us to be remembered for good.

Now imagine that I traveled to the future, and what people remember me for is that I am proud, not respectful or wicked. I think that would really hurt me so bad. And some of the important questions that I will ask myself are, Am I really boastful? What am I doing that is reflecting that I am proud, or what have I been doing wrong to show that I have no regard for people?

To avoid those things from happening, I will start small by correcting my ways in a way that I will be compassionate, greet people and even show more respect. I will even go as far as giving my time and assistance to those who are in need of it because those are the things that count at the end of the day.

If I have seen what the future holds and I can not correct it by doing what is right, then I should be ready for what people will say at the end of the day. But since I am still in the present, the best thing I can do is to live a life that will definitely speak well of me later on, and this is also for my own peace of mind.

Like I said earlier, going into the future might only be a thing I see in movies, but with what I have seen, the way people speak of us later on is a great deal and that is why I don't want my action today to affect my legacy tomorrow.

Like the Bible says, a good name is better than silver and gold, and that is why over here in my country, it is far more important to always do things right and treat others right even when nobody is watching me.
