For this reason, communities must be flexible with the rule of only accepting content in English. As a general community at Hive we are able to find the best solution for our ecosystem to improve. Just as projects look for curators or team members who speak different languages, communities can do the same. Having one member who speaks Spanish, another English, another French and so on, ensures that the voting filters are more accurate. Delimiting the content to only accept in the universal language that is English only creates a barrier for the content authors, they look for a way to fit in and that is when they make this kind of mistakes.

As simple as using the translator to understand the content in the author's native language, as long as he/she is fluent in his/her own language, there is no reason to miss the context.

Or simply leave the job of filtering the content to someone in your team who knows that language.
