'Caracas en el 2000 ' and Elena Rose for #ttt
Hello, Hivers and Music lovers!
It's music sharing day at Hive thanks to #threetunetuesday and I haven't posted for #ttt for many weeks now, but it's time to take a break from my posts about my visit to Chicago and share some music.
For this musical Tuesday, I'm going to share three songs by a young American-Venezuelan singer who I think is very talented, Elena Rose.
One of her biggest hits is the song Caracas en el 2000. That's why I'm sharing a couple of images of Caracas that, although not from 2000, show how beautiful the city is. These days, my thoughts are in Caracas, with what's been happening lately in Venezuela. Let's hope it's for the better.
Elena Rose was born in Miami, but her parents are Venezuelan. Many of her songs are not the style of music I listen to, but that doesn't prevent me from recognizing her talent. So, here are three of her most popular songs.

Tune 1 - Elena Rose, Danny Ocean, Jerry Di - Caracas en el 2000
Caracas en el 2000, a song released in 2023, launched Elena Rose's musical career.
The song by Elena Rose features Danny Ocean and Jerry Di.
It is an ode to Caracas with a nostalgic look at the city in the year 2000. Long before the diaspora that caused many young and not so young people to leave the country, who now listen to the song with nostalgia of the city it was in their memories.
Tune 2 - Elena Rose - Me lo Merezco
Me lo Merezco (I Deserve It) is a song from 2024. It has a positive message, and by chance, I've been hearing it in various places here in Bogotá lately. People here seems to love it. And when I hear it these days, I can't help but think that Venezuelans deserve for things in our country be better after so many years of hardship.
Tune 3 - Elena Rose, Camilo, Los Angeles Azules - Carteras Chinas
The third song is by Elena Rose, featuring Colombian singer Camilo and Mexican band Los Ángeles Azules.
Venezuela, Colombia, and Mexico together in a song with a super catchy beat in Carteras Chinas. I really like it!
