Only Real Threat

Why is every smart guy or any guy with a particularly useful skill all a villian
Like every bad guy in that show is a scientist why do all scientist in invincible choose to be bad
And why are the people on the good side generally incompetent , lack any real skills or powers , emotionaly unstable regularly practice vanity and regularaly engage in every single vice known to man
Yeah I mean as in there is no one else to challeange us
We are so advance that the only threat to us is the kajiu comming up from the ocean floor or aliens invading us both of which are conpletely fictional
Our only real threat is ourselves
