RE: The poet's Lament

I think this is a great poem and it highlights some of the reasons why I made this community and why I encourage us poets to read each other and let each other know what we think.

I liked how you you relayed the difficulty of writing in the first verse. It's often like that for me and I go long periods in which I write no poetry. So when I do it's sometimes a bit disheartening to not be noticed.

That being said, it is my hope that my most important poems, the ones about my wife and family, will one day be read when I am no longer able to speak to them.
