RE: [Movie] The Mummy 1999 Review.

One of the best films I've ever seen. But I'm not sure that categorizing it as "horror" is entirely accurate. Every time I've seen them on television (casually) I've noticed that they have more of an adventurous tone with action and comedy. While it's true that the whole mummy thing can be a bit creepy at times, and this is supposedly a reinterpretation of a classic film of the same name, which was indeed terrifying.

But well, despite the era, the mix of adventure with humor and action and all, the film does a great job of delivering terror, at least at the beginning. Then come its many action and comedy scenes with scenes that have remained in posterity's memory. Even now, people remember those scenes with some really funny memes, to be honest. 😅
