On the flip side, using AI can and already has helped cut costs for small businesses. I've felt that way with the tasks I can easily accomplished with AI and talking to some friends who run small businesses, they agree too. Where once some extra headcount would be needed for a repetitive task, it can now be outsourced (and more effectively too) to AI.

Sorry for the late answer. I agree with you that AI can be leveraged in many ways but from the perspective of a brick an mortar business, the gain from that is irrelevant compaired to the reduction of business that is enhanced by less visibility. Of course not every business is affected in the same way and also geographically it might fluctuate a lot. In my case, it's a huge blow however.
