There are many quotes on the internet attributed to Steve Jobs, and one that is absolutely apocryphal is: Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. So when they grow up, they will know the value of things and not the price. Although this is clearly a fake, just like the lines stating that whether you wear a $300 or a $30 watch, they both tell the same time or whether you carry a $300 or a $30 wallet, the amount of money inside is the same, it continues to be shared worldwide. Your post actually reminded me of it. Let’s not deny reality: it would be nice to be rich, but in the end, what we truly need to live is the essentials. Chasing the superfluous and losing one's values is the real defeat. Namaste 💛
