My own personal critique of the silver bar as well, the General is a 4-4-0 but whoever the engraver was must have been clueless when it came to old trains. I guess in the end it was the thought that counts, had it been made today I'm sure the mistake would have been avoided. But in the early seventies maybe the only source of that information was the encyclopedia since we certainly didn't have Wikipedia yet!
