What we need instead are better systems around how dangerous information is handled without dismantling the framework that produces the honesty in the first place.

This is nothing more than the truth. Better systems in handling such situations because people still need to be assured of their information not getting leaked out. Trust me, once trust is broken, it’s hard to regain it back.
