Call me crazy but self custody wallet still feels like the way to go. Yes it's more complicated and requires more attention to detail and responsibility for the end user, but it's a fair tradeoff to be finally directly in control of your own finances, not beholding to a bank or other financial institution.. that's the real freedom! :)
