I find your opinion very interesting, especially your point that the film has a solid premise but falls short in its execution. I share your frustration with the abrupt cuts and the use of flashbacks at key moments, and to me, that sounds like a wasted narrative. I mean, those gaps in film productions are pretty annoying. I’m going to watch it because I’m curious about what you mentioned regarding the film’s approach to issues like race and gender-based violence. I liked it, and you’ve left me wanting to see it 😁

Thank you for your comment. This movie is an interesting one but I wish the director had explored some of the themes raised. The race and gender based violence issues were only hinted at in flashbacks and that was it. I hope you watch the movie soon and enjoy it more than I did. I appreciate your time here.
