I fear it will go that way very quickly, yes. I can already see the fraud hotlines being flooded with reports. Then the government will intervene again, and we'll be even more "patronized" under the guise of "protection." Which ultimately, of course, amounts to even more control. And all this because now, suddenly, AI agents are required in your browser, which are also configured by default to have permission to read and perform actions on every page, while 99% of internet users have never heard of "browser settings."

Smart move, considering we've been aware for years that not everyone is equally motivated to work for their own money. Now, with these AI-agent browsers, it's only made easier to empty countless crypto wallets and bank accounts. Instead of learning code, they now only have to distribute well-formulated text via "Prompt Injection."
