Hello everyone,
I wasn't actually planning to buy new packs in Splinterlands, as it wasn't worth it for me most of the time. But now that the new Conclave Packs have come out, my curiosity has won out and I bought a pack after all.
I bought a standard pack for 4000 DEC, which guarantees at least one rare card. That's the equivalent of about 3.84 $.

eigentlich hatte ich nicht vor, mir neue Packs in Splinterlands zu kaufen, da es sich für mich meistens nicht gelohnt hat. Da nun aber die neuen Conclave Packs herausgekommen sind, hat meine Neugierde gesiegt, und ich habe mir doch ein Pack gekauft.
Für 4000 DEC habe ich mir ein Standard Pack geholt, in dem mindestens eine Rare Karte garantiert ist. Das sind umgerechnet ca. 3,84 $.

I have drawn one rare card and 4 common cards.
According to Peakmonster, these have a value of approx. 0.48 $. A huge discrepancy compared to the pack price, of course. Of course, it would have been better to simply buy individual cards on the market. But it's just the attraction of maybe getting lucky and drawing something good. But you probably have to buy and open 50 packs straight away and then you might achieve a good average value, as there are also a few more valuable cards in there. But I'm not prepared to invest that much money in packs.

Ich habe eine Rare Karte und 4 Common Karten gezogen.
Laut Peakmonster haben diese einen Wert von ca. 0,48 $. Im Vergleich zu dem Pack Preis natürlich eine große Diskrepanz. Da wäre es natürlich besser gewesen, sich einfach einzelne Karten auf dem Markt zu kaufen. Aber es ist eben der Reiz, vielleicht mal Glück zu haben, und etwas Gutes zu ziehen. Aber dafür muss man wahrscheinlich direkt 50 Packs kaufen und öffnen und erreicht dann eventuell einen guten Mittelwert, da auch ein paar wertvollere Karten dabei sind. Aber ich bin nicht bereit, so viel Geld in Packs zu investieren.

Schauen wir uns nun einmal die einzelnen Karten genauer an:

Cavewise Wayfinder:

Cavewise Wayfinder comes with a new trait. It is called Reckless and means that every successful attack also deals 1 damage to the neighboring cards. However, it also has Ambush, which means that the card performs an extra attack at the start of the first round. An interesting combination.

Cavewise Wayfinder bringt eine neue Eigenschaft mit. Sie nennt sich Reckless und bedeutet, dass jeder erfolgreiche Angriff auch 1 Schaden bei den benachbarten eigenen Karten verursacht. Dafür hat sie aber auch Ambush, was bedeutet, dass die Karte zu Beginn der ersten Runde einen extra Angriff ausführt. Eine interessante Kombination.

Swiftbeard Stout:

This card has Taunt, which means that all attackers focus on this opponent. From level 2, one of the new attributes is added, namely Bloodline Tribute. According to the description, all cards of the same bloodline get +1 to their attributes when this card is defeated. However, I'm still not quite sure which cards are added to the bloodline.

Diese Karte verfügt über Taunt, das heißt alle Angreifer fokussieren sich auf diesen Gegner. Ab dem 2. Level kommt eine der neuen Eigenschaften hinzu, und zwar Bloodline Tribute. Laut Beschreibung bekommen alle Karten derselben Blutline jeweils +1 auf ihre Attribute, wenn diese Karte besiegt wird. Welche Karten jedoch zu der Blutlinie hinzugezählt werden, ist mir jetzt noch nicht so ganz klar.

Conclave Artificer:

This is a neutral card without an attack that has camouflage. This card can therefore not be attacked directly.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine neutrale Karte ohne Angriff, die über Camouflage verfügt. Diese Karte kann also nicht direkt angegriffen werden.

Virid Venomancer:

This is an Earth Splinter card, which is well positioned with 2 magic attack, but also costs 5 mana, which is not exactly little considering its otherwise rather weak attributes.

Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Karte des Erd Splinters, welche mit 2 Magieangriff gut aufgestellt ist, dafür aber auch 5 Mana kostet, was nicht gerade wenig ist, angesichts ihrer sonst recht schwachen Attribute.

Fenmoor Wood Troll:

This card costs 10 mana directly, but also has 2 properties from level 1: Wingbreak and Blind. Wingbreak can be used well against Flying, as these cards are targeted first and take +2 damage. Blind means that all enemy melee and ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target. I also find this combination interesting.

Diese Karte kostet direkt 10 Mana, hat dafür aber auch direkt 2 Eigenschaften ab Level 1: Wingbreak und Blind. Wingbreak kann gut gegen Flying angewandt werden, da diese Karten zuerst anvisiert werden und +2 Schaden nehmen. Blind führt dazu, dass alle gegnerischen Nah- und Distanzangriffe eine erhöhte Wahrscheinlichkeit haben, ihr Ziel zu verfehlen. Diese Kombination finde ich auch interessant.

Fazit:

Once again, I had little luck with my opening.
I think that the new cards with some new characteristics will fundamentally change the game in Modern once again. Personally, I think it's a shame that Chaos Legion can no longer be played in Modern and that you would have to build a completely new deck. Certainly not an advantage for older players. I don't think I'll be buying any more packs. To be honest, I'm also not prepared to invest a lot of money in a new deck again.
I don't really want to get the Wild Pass either, as I tend to play sporadically and it doesn't add up.
What do you think of the introduction of the new Conclave Edition and the changes to Modern?

Bei meinem Opening hatte ich mal wieder wenig Glück.
Ich denke, dass die neuen Karten mit einigen neuen Eigenschaften das Spiel in modern mal wieder grundlegend verändern. Ich persönlich finde es schade, dass Chaos Legion nicht mehr in modern gespielt werden kann, und man sich schon wieder ein komplett neues Deck aufbauen müsste. Für ältere Spieler sicherlich kein Vorteil. Ich denke nicht, dass ich mir noch weitere Packs kaufen werde. Ich bin auch ehrlich gesagt nicht bereit, wieder viel Geld in ein neues Deck zu investieren.
Den Wild Pass möchte ich mir eigentlich auch nicht holen, da ich eher sporadisch Spiele und die Rechnung dann nicht aufgeht.
Wie seht ihr die Einführung der neuen Conclave Edition und die Änderung bei modern?
