This is where Rental Market comes in handy. By spending a very small amount of DEC or Credits, you can rent powerful cards and increase your rank and rewards in the game. In today's blog, we will know how to rent cards from the Splinterlands Market step-by-step.
The method of renting cards is to first enter the Market section, log in to your Splinterlands account, click on the 'Market' icon from the top menu bar. Then select the 'Card Rentals' tab from there. And search for cards using filters. There are thousands of cards in the market. Use filters to quickly find the card you need, such as,
- Element: (Fire, Water, Earth etc.)
- Rarity: (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary)
- Foil: (Regular or Gold)
- Edition: (Chaos Legion, Rebellion etc.)
Select the card or click on the card of your choice to see its various listings. Here, choose the card with the lowest price (DEC/Day) and the level you need. Tick the Check Box next to the card. Then you have to set the payment and time limit, for example, at the bottom you will see the 'Rent' button. After clicking there, a pop-up will appear, select whether you will pay with DEC or Credits. And enter the number of days you want to rent for (minimum 1 day).
Now confirm the transaction, which is finally click on the **'Rent'** button. If you are using **Hive Keychain**, you will be asked for a confirmation. Once you approve it, the card will be added to your collection. However, when renting a card, check how much power it gives. This is very important for upgrading the league. However, make sure that the card does not have a 'Clock' icon or cooldown. Renting a card with a cooldown cannot be used immediately in battle. If you want, you can rent many cards faster and at once using the PeakMonsters website, in addition to directly in the game. However, one thing is that the rental price of cards increases a lot 1-2 days before the end of the season. So it is wise to rent the necessary cards a few days in advance.
