DEC KickBacks

@rentmoney is providing kickbacks to those who rent his Splinterlands cards from the official Splinterland marketplaces. There is no set amount of DEC that will get tossed your way but if this becomes somewhat popular a more forthcoming system will be implemented with details provided in a post. For now I'm just tossing DEC peoples way who rent my cards. The more cards you rent, the higher the amount of DEC I will send your way. Things like amount of DEC spent will factor in. Please note that @rentmoney's card selection is mainly OG cards of the lower combined rates and level ones. If you are in the market for such I have plenty listed and can list more upon request or as I see the demand to do so. Please note you have 72 hours to make a claim starting from the time a claim post has been created. I do this manually so putting a time limit on claims is to limit the amount of potential work that needs to be done. How to make a claim? Step One: Rent splinterland cards from @rentmoney. Step Two: keep an eye out for a claim post. When one is created (like this one) head to the comment section of said post and let @rentmoney know you have rented some cards from them. @rentmoney will then review your claim and manually send you some DEC as a KickBack bonus for renting his cards [:) My collection contain allot of BETA and OG Reward cards.

Today I decided to trade the DEC my rentals collected for Hive Tokens. I been MIA for a few months which means my Hive Token accumulation during that time has been next to null. This will help my goal of increasing my Hive Token holdings. Currently sitting in my Tribaldex wallet is roughly 60,000 DEC. Using market value that is worth about $50 USD. If one were to use that same DEC to purchase directly from Splinterlands it would have a value of $60 USD. Currently DEC is trading at 0.0039 on the ask side/ 0.00388714 on the sell side. I plan on selling directly into the sell wall. This means I will receive a total of 233 Hive Tokens for 60,000 DEC. With a few clicks I have done just that. I'm 233 Hive Tokens richer thanks to Splinterlands all earned passively while I was offline. If you have Splinterland cards sitting in your account there is no harm in listing them for rent using PeakMonsters or any other app that allows such actions. After-all these cards are meant to be played with so why not let someone do just that while you sit back and enjoy some passive income.

What Is Splinterlands?

Splinterlands is a #play2earn game hosted on the Hive Blockchain. Assets that have real monetary value are used to earn rewards/ more assets in a robust gaming economy. SPL Rental Tip

• Check the Alpha version of the Beta Set. You can often get the Alpha version for the same rental price as the Beta version.

Did You Know

• The original card set known as Alpha sold for $2.00 USD per pack and had a print rate of just 100,000. The Beta set came next which was a reprint of Alpha + some new additions also sold for just $2.00 USD a pack.

Tournament Fact

• Splinterland tournaments weren't always what you see today. Once upon a time there was no official interface and tracking tournament play was done offsite using third party means. Winners bracket were kept tracked by those who hosted such tournaments and roll call was done on discord chat.
