According to Wikipedia, "In 2001, there were 1,777 TCBY locations across the United States. By 2011, after several waves of closings, there were 405."
Now there are only 129. Just over 7% of what there were about 25 years ago. I'm honestly surprised any are left, but I wish them the best.

That is interesting. It's definitely sad to see them collapse like that. I think a lot of it had to do with people realizing it wasn't any more healthy. Remember that Seinfeld episode? I think a lot of other brands jumped on the scene too and stole some of the monopoly they had on the market.
