I did learn about the Ookla Speed Test App, will try it out and see what interesting discoveries I'll make on the quality of network around the areas I visit. For the most part, if the network is really poor and if it's not that important, I just shut everything down and go immerse myself into offline activities. It's super frustrating to be in this in between state where the network is neither good nor bad.
