Pre-easter sesh!

Happy easter! Yesterday I recorded a quick sesh at what I think might be my favorite obstacle at Praça Duó.

I don’t think the angle does its justice, but the tranny is so fast and hard to jump out of. Takes a while to feel confortable, but after getting used to it is the funnest spot. I guess it’s my favorite obstacle from ever since the opening of the park.

These days I was talking to @xvlad about a session we had circa 2014 at this same spot and we were trying to get a Frontside No-Comply out of the ramp to Tail Stall on the ledge, and I landed it perfect. Still to this day I don’t know how I pulled that off, could never do it again and it doesn’t make a lot of sense, but it worked out, felt amazing and it’s stuck in my memory forever.

I don’t think he actually remembers that sesh, I can’t even count on my only eye witness at the time lol.

Here’s a lil photo straight from the vault for some context. Had to scroll through 3000 Instagram posts to find it, but it’s worth it! It’s probably not the same sesh, or maybe it was, I don't know, but it’s the same spot and the same era haha.

Anyway, enough nostalgia for today, going to cook some lunch fast so I can skate Praça XV before the sunset!

[PT-BR] Feliz Páscoa a todos! Ontem gravei uma sessão rápida no obstáculo que deve ser o meu favorito da Praça Duó.

Acho que o ângulo não faz justiça ao que é, mas a transição é rápida e difícil de jumpar. Demora um pouco pra pegar a manha, mas depois que se acostuma fica muito divertido. Acho que é meu obstáculo favorito desde a abertura da pista.

Esses dias eu estava falando com o @xvlad sobre uma sessão que fizemos por volta de 2014 nesse pico e estávamos tentando Frontside No Comply saindo da rampa e encaixando de Tail Stall na borda, e eu acertei um perfeito. Até hoje eu não sei como fiz a proeza, nunca consegui mandar novamente e nem faz tanto sentido, mas na hora deu certo, foi uma sensação foda e está guardada na minha memória pra sempre!

Pior que eu acho que ele nem se lembra desse rolé, não posso nem contar com a minha única testemunha visual haha.

Aqui está uma foto direto do baú pra contextualizar um pouco. Tive que passar uns 3000 post no Instagram pra achar, mas valeu a pena hahah. Provavelmente não foi nessa mesma sessão, ou talvez tenha sido, não sei, mas o pico é o mesmo e a época também.

De qualquer forma, chega de nostalgia por hoje, vou almoçar rápido e ir andar na Praça XV antes de escurecer.
