RE: Healthy and Unhealthy Competition

I agree with you that a healthy competition is one where there is no jealousy, envy or hatred towards the other competitors. Any competition in which all these things are present between the participants will be called unhealthy because those people are taking the competition personally and not as a competition. Whatever the competition is, it always seems that someone will win, the only difference is that some people take this victory and defeat personally and in a way, the feeling of revenge always remains in their mind. Some people start developing ego about victory and become egoistic and arrogant, which is completely wrong. Here everything is a matter of time, if someone is winning today, then he will not always be the winner because someone else will come who will be better than him and will win by performing even better than him, so it is better to take a competition just as a competition. Some people take this competition so personally that it goes too far later, so this should not be done at all.

True, in every competition there must be a winner and a loser. It is very important to not take these things too personal so as to avoid greed, rage, and other negative emotions engulf us. Ego and arrogance is a one way ticket to failure.
