RE: Save the IPO dates: Anthropic planning to go public on October 23rd 2026, OpenAI one month later on November 27th 2026, targeting 1T marketcap, putting them in the top 20.

I think they are leaving it too late and will struggle to raise these sums late in 2026. Companies are already starting to limit their employees AI spend and are finding that people are cheaper than AI in many circumstances.

There is going to be a major shakeout of AI companies and only the most efficient, best capitalised and with the ability to scale least expensively are going to survive (ie SpaceX).

SpaceX beating OpenAI & Anthropic to the IPO by 6 months will prove their doom.
