Tama po yan, walking is for good health. I always asked my mother in law to join us walking every weekend at University of the Philippines Diliman but no avail... Now she had stroke and wanted to walk.. We should take care of our health as we grow older. Walking is yet the best and cheapest.
I'm sad to know to what happenned to your mother in law. It's really hard to get sick lalo na pag ma stroke. That's why I try my best to discipline myself by practicing a healthy lifestyle. Having a healthy diet, daily exercise even for just 30 minutes every day at home, meditation and deep breathing exercise really helps my BP reduced without having medication. And I'm so much thankful to my daughter @tegoshei for her earnest guidance to make this happen and my husband's support too. Prevention is really better than cure. I hope your mom in law will get better soon.
