amazing ....first of all Happy international women's Day to all the ladies in the house....
i have never seen or heard of any campaign or any project to create some of awareness, all i have seen up till this year is everyone going on social media and wishing their moms or girlfriends or friend's IWD...
same thing with the men and any other international days, and gradually this things are lossing their essence, the real reason why these day's were created,....
or do i feel everyone's too busy with their lives no one even care to shout out the injustice in the system, inequality against women, rape cases or lifting some girls off the street setting them up instead of allowing them go into prostitution...
these days should come with real event, campaigns workshop something to create enlightenment this will uphold the ritual and add more meaning to the days....

@jmis101
@afriken
let me hear what you gotta say
There might be less activities but that doesn't write it off that there are some in place sha
seen or heard of any?
This is really thoughtful, but I think there is an event like that. Just that the awareness is not really there
i guess so and i hope so too....
You are right but somehow the celebration is actually doing some good work in the background, at least the awareness of exisential recognition is there
We are reminded to cherish and respect women even if we dont attend physical parties. Social media has taken over already
We see different flyers and posters made online and by brands for adverts and all… thsts still something is just that wicked people in the world still choose to disrespect them.
you're right @therichking maybe i haven't been on socials lately to spot one, i just feel the day should have more weight than everyone coming on socials just typing #IWD everywhere,
i also hope we see more changes by the day ..
thankyou for stopping by
